2 Corinthians 5:7 - For we walk by faith, not by sight
Years ago, I created ideas for a faith apparel clothing line. It started with writing down slogans and graphics inspired by scripture from the Holy Bible in my personal notebook. Though I had the potential to begin any minute, I believed that it was unreachable. Insecurities and self-doubt flooded my mind. I allowed my surroundings to dictate my outcome, which in turn led me to believe that creating such a clothing line would be infeasible. As a Christian, our God allows trials in which we grow the fruits of the Holy Spirit, allowing these things to occur because He knows the areas where we are weak.
Many stories in the bible, for reference, Abraham had to have faith that when he journeyed with his son Issac to a mountain, to sacrifice his son, that God would raise him from the dead. Though God appeared in time to tell him to stop and was pleased by Abraham concerning his faith.
The man at the pool of Bethesda, who was unable to move for 30 years, though at the trouble of the water by the angels, anyone could be healed instantly. Along came Jesus, and the man lying told Jesus his reason. Jesus healed him, and he rose up. He even had the faith to rise up.
The list can go on, and the reasons for glorifying God are endless.
As these are standpoints for moving forward in my life, I began to understand that my faith was lacking, and having faith doesn't mean you have to fully understand what may be going on entirely right in front of you; it requires the believer to completely trust in God, regardless of how the situation looks or turns out.
2 Corinthians 5:7, because no matter what's going on around, God is still in control of everything! I eventually took the leap of faith to just believe and allow God to operate through me by His Holy Spirit, and I continue to trust in Him and put my Faith in Him with everything in my life, and so should you.
